In the Self-Expression and Leadership program, businessman Robert Baird founded Youth Making a Difference, an organization that arranges trips where youth from Salt Lake City travel to India to distribute humanitarian supplies that they collected over the course of a year. The purpose is both to impact poverty and India, where Baird frequently travels, and just as importantly, to have each youth realize that they make a profound difference in the world.
