Leche’s Blog
Leche shares on her blog what she has been getting out of her participation in the Landmark Forum and the Self-Expression and Leadership program:
One of the big things I have taken on and am creating for my life is being a person who allows myself to be however I am and others to be however they are. And that includes allowing myself to be angry when I am angry, instead of fighting it. The answer is not that I am supposed to be this wonderful bundle of joy every minute of the day. But when I give up fighting however I am, I often naturally start becoming happier. It’s so much more calming not worrying about how different people see you. And of course I naturally start to react to things. But it’s catching myself and reminding myself that whatever I am thinking is not the truth; it’s my interpretation.
My creations:
1. Allowing myself and others the freedom to be however they are and however they are not.
1a. Understanding that my stories and drama are there to add fun and entertainment to my life, and it is not bad, but too much of it can have consequences.
2. Talking straight, saying exactly what I mean and not using my cute/nice thing to make it okay. Being true in my convictions and therefore giving my words power.
3. Listening to the words people are saying as just that, with no meaning attached.
